Kitten Angels, an Organization Dedicated to the Rescue and Adoption of Abandoned Kittens and Cats, is Awarded New Website from Capital Region Agency Buzz Media Solutions

Second Place Social Media Package is Given to an Organization that Helps Women and Girls Achieve their Educational Goals

(Schenectady, NY) September 3, 2014 – To celebrate five years in business, Capital Region based Buzz Media Solutions has awarded one area non-profit organization a complete website package in their Great Summertime Website Giveaway. Registered 501(c)(3) organizations competed in an online contest during the entire month of August to secure votes on the Buzz Media Solutions campaign portion of their website.

The Winners!
Kitten Angels of the Capital Region has emerged as the winner and will be receiving a new website from Buzz Media Solutions. The Women’s Fund of the Capital Region, located in Albany, NY came in second place and will be receiving a two-month social media package.

“We were excited about the level of participation from non-profit organizations within our community,” said Susan Bardack, CEO. “A well-built website plays an important role in an organization’s overall marketing and outreach strategy and we are excited to provide this opportunity to Kitten Angels, an organization that helps find homes for abandoned kittens.”

For today’s non-profits, a website is a cornerstone upon which additional marketing strategies are built. It is the first place clients go for information on programs and services. It is also the best place for would-be donors and volunteers to learn more about what the agency is providing the community.

Buzz Media Solutions awarded a social media package to the second-place winner. Jeff Goronkin, chief strategy officer said, “Social media is an effective way for organizations to connect and interact with their audience, but it requires active participation. We’re happy to provide this service to The Women’s Fund of the Capital Region, an organization dedicated to helping women and girls in the region achieve independence and economic security.”

The entire team at Buzz Media Solutions thanks all organizations for competing this year in their summertime campaign!
